Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 November 2026 · Version 11.2.2026

1. Who we are

Top Goods Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong (Business Registration No. 79613927-000-01-26-4) ("Nelson's," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website https://trynelsons.com and sells botanical rodent-repellent pouches and related products, including subscription refill plans. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit our website, place an order, contact us, or enroll in a subscription. For customers in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom, Top Goods Limited is the data controller for the personal information described here. By using our website you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you place an order, create an account, start a subscription, enter a promotion, or contact support, you may provide your name, billing and shipping addresses, email address, phone number, order and subscription preferences, and the contents of any messages you send us. Payment card details are entered directly with our payment provider; we do not receive or store your full card number.

Information we collect automatically. When you browse the site, we and our providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to collect device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, pages and products viewed, items added to cart, and the dates and times of your visits.

Information from third parties. We may receive information from advertising and analytics platforms (for example, campaign and attribution data), from social media services you use to interact with us, and from our fulfilment, shipping, and payment partners, consistent with their own terms and your settings.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal information (such as health, biometric, or precise geolocation data), and we do not knowingly collect information from children (see Section 11).

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

• process and fulfil orders, take payment, arrange shipping, and send order and delivery updates;

• create and manage your account and subscription refill plan, including recurring billing, renewal notices, and cancellations;

• respond to your questions, refund requests, and support inquiries;

• send marketing emails or texts where you have opted in, and let you opt out at any time;

• measure and improve site performance, understand demand, prevent fraud, and keep the site secure; and

• meet our legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations, and establish or defend legal claims.

Legal bases (EEA / UK)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to process your orders and subscriptions); consent (for marketing and non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time); legitimate interests (for site security, fraud prevention, analytics, and improving our services, balanced against your rights); and legal obligation (for tax, accounting, and compliance).

4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to run the site (for example, to keep items in your cart and to process checkout) and, with your consent where required, functional, analytics, and advertising technologies. We use advertising and analytics tools from partners such as Meta and Google to measure our campaigns and show relevant ads. These partners may set cookies and receive limited event data, such as page views or purchases.

Where the law requires it (for example, for visitors in the EEA, the UK, or certain U.S. states), we request your consent through a cookie banner and honor your choices, including opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control where applicable. Because browser "Do Not Track" standards are not consistent, we may not respond to all DNT signals. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, through our cookie preference tool.

5. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only as needed to run our business:

• Service providers: our e-commerce platform (Shopify), our payment gateway (Airwallex) and any other payment methods you select, fulfilment and shipping carriers, warehousing partners, email and SMS providers, customer-support tools, and analytics and advertising partners. These providers may process your information only to perform services for us and under confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

• Legal and safety: courts, regulators, and law-enforcement or government authorities where reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, prevent fraud, or protect our rights, customers, and systems.

• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, in which case personal information may transfer to the successor under protections consistent with this Policy.

• With your consent: where you have asked us to share information with a third party.

Some U.S. state laws treat the use of advertising cookies as "sharing" or "targeted advertising." Where that applies, we honor opt-out requests as described in Section 9.

6. Payment processing

Payments are processed by our payment gateway, Airwallex, and by any additional payment methods you select at checkout. These providers handle card data under the PCI-DSS security standard. We receive confirmation of payment and limited transaction details, not your full card number.

7. International data transfers (EEA / UK)

We operate from Hong Kong and use service providers located in the United States and elsewhere. If you are in the EEA or the UK, your personal information may be transferred to countries that do not provide the same level of data protection as your home country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. Contact us for more information about these safeguards.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here and to meet legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements. Order, subscription, and payment records are typically retained for the period required by tax and consumer-protection law. If you close your account or ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required or permitted to keep it (for example, to complete a transaction, resolve a dispute, or meet a legal obligation). Backup copies are deleted in the ordinary course of business.

9. Your privacy rights

United States (state privacy laws). Depending on your state (for example, California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and others), you may have the right to know or access the personal information we hold, correct inaccurate information, delete your information, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@trynelsons.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time your law requires, and you may use an authorized agent where permitted. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Where your state gives you a right to appeal our decision, you may reply to our response to appeal.

Canada (PIPEDA). If you are in Canada, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Contact us at info@trynelsons.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Hong Kong (PDPO). If you are in Hong Kong, you may request access to, and correction of, the personal information we hold about you under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486). Contact us at info@trynelsons.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Hong Kong.

EEA / UK (GDPR). You may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to data portability. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You may lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (for example, the UK ICO). To exercise these rights, contact us at info@trynelsons.com.

Marketing choices. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message, and stop marketing texts by replying STOP. We may still send you service messages about your orders, subscriptions, and account.

10. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS / TLS), access controls, and PCI-DSS-compliant payment providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please keep your account credentials confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. We will never ask for your password by email.

11. Children’s privacy

Our site and products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the minimum age set by your local law). If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Text messaging (SMS)

If you opt in to text messages, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and order-related texts at the number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not share mobile opt-in data or consent with third parties for their own marketing; we share it only with vendors that help us deliver our messages.

13. Third-party links

Our site may link to other websites and services we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice where required. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
